Boop

The blurry spot on the photo is where Momo came and booped my camera lens.

Some more boops - here, here and here. Oh and here too.

Life lately // 023

How much love inside a day?
Depends how good you live 'em.
How much love inside a friend?
Depends how much you give 'em.

Meet Chadol

Guess what?

Yangkyu and I have decided to adopt a new dog. After thinking and hesitating for months, we made the decision in December and now we are eagerly waiting for Chadol (who will be cleared to fly after January 19 - he received his rabies shot on December 19 and it takes a month for him to be cleared) to find a flight volunteer. The search has been somewhat difficult - it's hard to find people flying to Dulles who were willing to be flight volunteers but it's even harder now with a pandemic with less people traveling. Even so we remain hopeful that there will be someone who will bring Chadol home to us.

In the meantime, we wanted to share this video produced by a volunteer run group called YouDongBu (which is short for YouGi DongMul Eul Boo Tak Hae, which roughly translates into a phrase that sounds like it is asking a favor, "Please take care of homeless animals).

This video was made Chadol was still looking for a family. I had seen pictures and short videos of him before on Instagram and regularly checked YouDongBu's Youtube page to see if there might be a full video of him. And one day there was. I remember being so very excited to get to know him more and after viewing it sort of cemented the thought even more that he was going to somehow be a part of our family.

Chadol is estimated to be around 10 years old. He was found as a stray and bounced from shelter to shelter until the director of the current shelter he is at took him in.

Hurry home, Chadol! We're all eagerly waiting for your arrival!
