happy monday. happy october.

no way. monday is already here. when i was young, my friend had a pin that read "i'm allergic to mondays." she also had a sweatshirt that read "i'm not opinionated. i'm just always right." but i digress. a highlight of the weekend - mason district park in annandale, va. we hiked along the trails, had a small picnic and found a new dog run for piri.

other sweets moments from the weekend:
  • chatting with super mom at barnes & noble. she had a stack of books and a captain america shield in her arms and her boys did naughty kiddie things that prompted her to say "boys we don't do that in public!" i thought it was cute.
  • getting the best advice from a dad at h-mart when i couldn't decide whether to buy three or four yams. he said "when you're uncertain, always buy one extra." his wife must be proud. 
  • meeting lady at the dog run. piri just wanted to sniff, but she wanted to play tackle. she was our favorite (ok maybe a tie with the cutest corgi pup named butters)
  • finally catching up with all the seasons of the big bang theory. i love sheldon and company!

    Hope everything is good with Piri now. No dog parks near me but we do have off-leash parks close by, I guess thet's pretty much the same thing.

      Thanks for your concern! Piri is doing great, thank goodness. Dog park/off-leash parks are great! Gives time for Piri to socialize and run around! Hope you have a good day!
