hello!
today, i'm over at the othermix blog talking about running - the reasons why i have included it in my life, battling weight gain {and loss}, self image and some cheesy inspiring cheesy songs that have made me feel like i was flying on the treadmill {although it's always not the case - some days running can be a little tougher}.
come by and read the q & a {which by the way is the first of the "running high" series on the othermix}.
thanks!

DeleteI actually can't run, it bothers me a lot. But I walk a lot as I do not drive and I do yoga.

that's awesome that you incorporate other forms of exercise. for a long time i couldn't run either. and i couldn't balance myself on the treadmill! but now it's much easier. :)
DeleteI love your music choices do run... they're quite similar to mine. And no shame here too! ; )

DeleteJust came over from reading + commenting on your Q+A! You're such an inspiration! I need to dust off my running shoes now that the weather is getting warmer :) Have such a wonderful Easter weekend, Jane! xo
ReplyDeletethanks so much jessica!
Deletelove this! I am not a runner but the post makes me think I might be able to. I have never been a long distance runner either (I was a sprinter in track!) but, maybe just getting started will help me get over that concept! I agree..having a partner may help too!

DeleteI love to keep my body healthy and fit but I
ReplyDeletenever really was a runner :c Going to read
the Q&A post! Xx
i never knew i would say that i was a runner.. and it's so weird that i say i run because i feel like it's not something that my body fully embraces yet. but i am beginning to see the benefits of it so hopefully one day i'll feel more comfortable to call myself a runner :)
DeleteAwesome Jane :) When I lived in Japan I went running every night in my park (super safe in Japan) and I loved it, well not at the start but it was amazing to see how much better I got and quite quickly too. I'd love to start running again but I'm a bit self conscious so would prefer to do it at night but then their is the safety issue (or an excuse?) maybe I'll con Ben to come with me :) I'd love to get super healthy, I feel my eating is getting way better but I'm so unfit that it's a tad embarrassing!
ReplyDeletei used to be self conscious too in a way. i could not for the life of me let the handle bars go of the treadmill because i couldn't balance myself. i am shocked that i am able to run on it!
Deletei'm going to check it out now Jane.
