and so come monday, piri got his dreaded bath and milked me for all the treats he could with his "feel sorry for me" stare. i fall for it every time.

Pet boutiques here in Budapest sell them as they use so much salt on the pavements in the winter. We had never noticed them in England.
That look would melt a heart of stone!
his little shoes always steals the show! we first started out with the shoes to keep them clean cos we were so lazy in wiping them after his walks, but a few years ago he had surgery on one of his paws because something got lodged in there so now the shoes also serve to protect his paws! :)
