Our cucumbers grew so tall. I didn't know that we needed a trellis and after going to The Home Depot to buy one, we ended up making a make shift one using hemp rope. It's amazing how they find things to wind their vines and continue to just keep going - upwards and onwards.
We've been having such good luck with cucumbers that we plan on growing them again next year.
I sometimes have them as snacks - just wash them, and eat them whole with dip. Some are a little bitter but not so much to the point where I can't eat them.
