on saturday, we went to see zoolights at the national zoo.
it was sorta kinda magical seeing all the trees lit up and
lights in shapes of animals.
i saw one and said "oh wow! an iguana!"
to which yangkyu quickly replied, "no jane. chameleon."
we laughed at that one for a while. (me even a longer while cos i tend to laugh at things even though days, weeks and months have passed).
it was a perfect date night,
hand in hand among the giggles of kids and families and other couples.
thank you stranger for offering to take this pic of us.
xoxo,
jane

Tks for stopping by expandng.com! You are from D. C.? We live in MD! We are planning to visit the lights at Seneca Park in Germantown. These Zoo lights look fun too! Great date night! Do you drive through them or walk?
ReplyDeleteWe're in VA! We used to live in Maryland. In Silver Spring! This was a walk-through. Parking was $9 for members and $16 for non-members. Really cute how they decorated the whole place!
DeleteIt looks like so much fun! I want to go to one!
