there is going to be a little celebration


in about 9 hours, yangkyu and i will pack up our little hatchback and make our way to ny for a little celebration -- my dear friend's baby shower. 
the decorations are ready, favors done and guests invited.
it's going to be such a sweet gathering. i cannot wait.

while we're there, we're also planning on visiting our old neighborhood in queens and grabbing a bite from our favorite taco place, having dates in manhattan and meeting up with friends we miss so much. it'll be good to catch up, laugh and just enjoy their company.

we'll be dropping piri off at a doggy hotel for the next few days where he'll get to play with his friends and enjoy doggy ice cream. we'll miss him terribly though. it's always hard to part with him. but i hope he has fun and makes new friends. i can't wait to read the little reports that petsmart writes up for you. the last one said "piri was the wise whippersnapper keeping the little ones in line." me and yangkyu laughed about that one for a while.

    And how cute that you will be keeping Piri in a doggy hotel. I know you'll miss him but it'll be that much sweeter when you pick him up :)

    I leave Teemo at the PetSmart in Silver Springs MD from time to time. I know you live near DC and you probably don't take piri to the same one - but still! Close! I love the sparkler photos - so cute. I am a big sparkler person myself.

      really? we used to live in silver spring! what a coincidence! :) i definitely want to try more sparklers in the future. it was our first time lighting one up! so much fun!
