throw back thursday: the man+dog high five

according to instagram, this picture was taken 93 weeks ago. wow.

it was when we were still living in maryland. i was preparing to go on a work related trip to chicago and leaving these two boys behind to make sure the plants got watered and entire apartment left in reasonably normal condition. they were high fiving each other in hopes that they would make it without me.

well they did. {although piri looks a little distrustful of yangkyu here.. ha!}

and last night we made it through without piri having an accident. woohoo! no getting up at 5 am and cleaning up the bathroom, and washing him and repeating this three more times. he's currently taking some medication and is on a bland diet. just what the doctor ordered.

high five little dude. here's feeling better real soon.

sorry for the uptick in piri posts lately. things are a little hard around here when the four-legged family member is sick. {but really, sometimes i resist the urge to put up gazillion pictures of him. but i guess that's what instagram is for.. oh yeah and the tumblr...}

thanks for all your thoughts and well wishes! he sure is lucky!

  6. So cute! I pretty much have to depend on Scott too to water our succulents or any plant if we want them to stay alive. I certainly don't have the green thumb in the household! -Jess L
