our ornament is here! and we love it.

every year we get a special ornament. it's kind of a tradition for us. last year was ballet slippers and a mini nutcracker after catching the performance at the kennedy center. this year we found a shop on etsy that makes hand stamped items including ornaments. we love how it turned out. and the piece of lace is just the perfect touch. 

 i can't wait until christmas. it's my favorite holiday. i have so many great memories as a child, and now i love making new memories with the loves of my life, yangkyu and piri.

    Lovely! What a great tradition. I'd love to do something similar, but sadly we've had to give up Christmas trees in our little apartment with two rambunctious cats.

    aww..that is so sweet. Actually, my husband and I started to purchase an ornament each year since we have been married. It's now our third holiday season together as a married couple and we plan to get our new ornament soon. We have our tree with decorations but just haven't had the time to get the ornament. This personalized ornament is great. Love what you have engraved on the ornament. =)

    Love this! My boyfriend and I are on a hunt for an ornament now that represents us and our kitty. I've had no luck but you have gave me the inspiration to keep searching! Can't wait to read more of your blog, hope you're loving DC! I am just an hour way in Baltimore :)

    How fun that we also have the same tradition to have a new ornament every year! We create a DIY ornament based on something that has been important during that year for us. Your hand stamped leaf is so special!
