have you ever watched bill cunningham new york? i caught it on netflix and couldn't have been more inspired. it sort of felt like the same kind of inspiration when i watched jiro dreams of sushi. there is nothing more gratifying than living your life doing something you love, and bill cunningham does just that. with his bicycle and his camera, he has been recording what people wear in new york city. i just love his documenting of the city's street style.
have you seen bill cunningham new york?
what are some documentaries that you've been watching lately?

Hello Jane,
ReplyDeleteThis all looks most intriguing. First, Bill Cunningham himself seems an incredibly interesting man. Secondly, he captures New York life from such an individual viewpoint. A creative maverick.....we love such people.

ReplyDeleteI've watched this multiple times. I admire the way he views life not to mention his eye for detail. He is definitely one of the people I want to meet however I doubt that will ever happen. Excellent film!
ReplyDeleteLove his smiling faces! I guess it's after the happiness of doing what he enjoys most. I learnt about him like 4 or 5 years ago or so, but never got the chance to see the documentary, I should! :) thanks for the reminder I have added it now to my watchlist!
