// shoes: natasha boots in sand from sole society. //
from where i stand at the old lucketts store in lucketts, virginia.
i stood here for a while crushing on these keys. i must come back and take some home with me. i think they'll make for a great wall deco.
++ thanks to those who have sent in your photos for this series. i had so much fun featuring them on the blog. there were "from where i stand" posts from all over the world, from australia to the beautiful golden state of california, usa. i would love to feature more from other cities and places and will keep the project open throughout the year. i can't wait to look back on it in december and see the range of different thoughts, perspectives and locations this series has brought together. hope you'll play along! see below on how you can submit a photo!

I too love antique keys. Last year, I stayed in a hotel in a cave and the key to our room was enormous! It was a magical feeling to turn the lock and open the room for the 1st time!

DeleteSo lovely...I love antique keys, I wish they still made keys like that for everything. So pretty, though maybe not as nice to carry as the smaller ones we have today. But, I like seeing them hanging up or in pretty boxes with ribbons attached. So lovely xx
