both yangkyu and i woke up at 5 am to a terrible down pour. i also subsequently knocked over my coffee and got my phone and also my japan/korea travel research notes all drenched. i was dreading that today was going to be one of those days where i would be out of my groove in what would be a very gloomy, dark and horribly wet day. but i love stories that have surprise endings -- right now it's the afternoon and the sun is out and there is a slight breeze. so.. it's going to be a good day - a prelude to what i hope will be a good, worry-free weekend.
do you have anything planned?
i'm finally getting a trim. i had spent the past couple of years trying to desperately grow my hair out that i hardly got any trims. you can imagine how many split and dying ends i have right now. i can't wait to get rid of them.
i haven't done these in a while, but here are some links to start your weekend. hope you enjoy them!
// love these cruelty-free nail lacquers by one of the latest leaping bunny certified companies.
// if i should have a daughter... a great ted talk by sarah kay.
// i would like each of toru sanogawa's animal prints please.
// this gingham plaid button down is the cutest.
// was introduced to this etsy shop recently.
// downloaded for my desktop.
// garlic knots recipe, i've been looking for you.
// i like bikes. even on skirts.
// ... and adults used to say "don't play with your food." these are just.. wow.
// putting this cafe as a must-go places when we visit korea.

DeleteIt's gloomy and dark here too, but you know what? So far it's been a good Friday! :) I hope you have a great weekend Jane!
ReplyDeletethanks! hope your weekend was great!
DeleteJane, this is so weird, haha! We have very similar weekend plans lately. It's all coincidental, but still! I think last weekend we both had a dentist's appointment scheduled, and this weekend I'm getting my hair chopped off too! I was growing out my hair for the wedding and refused to get occasional trims (I know, bad decision) because I was afraid my hair wouldn't be long enough for the up-do style I wanted. My stylist has been playfully scolding me for months now, so I'll be saying buh-bye to about 8inches of my locks!
ReplyDeletehope your hair cut went well! 8 inches! will you show us?
DeleteYou find the cutest things! The gingham shirt is awesome (not what I expected) and love those animal prints. I want the jumping panda.
