hello! did you all have a good weekend? hope it was a good one for you!
we spent sunday heading over to homestead farm in maryland to pick some strawberries. we went there to pick apples and pumpkins last fall and liked it so much that we went back {and i think we'll be heading back again in late july/august for their peaches}.
when we arrived, a tractor hay truck took us over to the strawberry patch {you can also walk over if you wish}, which was a whole lot of fun. i haven't ridden one since i was a child, and it was a first time for yangkyu so it was good to see him like it just as much as all the little kids that rode with us {who all squealed and giggled and wow-ed when we went over muddy bumps!}.
afterwards we went and said hello to the resident goats, chickens, piglets and llama and fed them some yummy grass too. we also grabbed their strawberry smoothie before heading back home listening to disney songs on pandora.
when we got home, piri's eyes bulged out in excitement because he loves strawberries just as much as he loves apples. we'll be eating a whole lot of them so don't be alarmed if we just end up turning into strawberries by the end of the week!
