January is always such a harsh month for me. It's bone chilling cold and this type of weather makes me just want to stay under the covers with my heat pad and not move an inch. My fingers and toes are always so numb and my coffee goes cold in a jiffy. And so I'm dreaming a few things with a touch of yellow sprinkled in. It's always such a sunny happy color. Much needed in my neck of the woods lately.
I'm loving everything here in this round up but I just got to give a special shout out to the art print. It's from a great shop, which, among other things, includes items with women in science illustrations featuring Jane Goodall (pictured above), Rosalind Franklin, Marie Curie, Patricia Bath and Valentina Treshkova. I think they would make fantastic gifts for young girls and women, don't you think?

What are you wishing up lately?

DeleteStay warm and maybe get yourself a bright yellow bed cover? I think i might look for one too to combat London's persistent shades of grim grey!

DeleteI haven't dreamed about any new things lately. I really have been focusing on cleaning up the clutter around me, which I always mean to do all year-round! But, I am loving that yellow basket you have posted. It looks like a great catcher for things in my house. =D
ReplyDeletexo,
nancy
I just cleaned up some clutter and got rid of some things. I feel like I have purged enough but it's amazing how I will continue to find something that is taking unnecessary space in the house!

DeleteJanuary is so hard. The pressure of resolutions used to be part of it, but now that I realized that it was pressure *I* was putting on myself and decided to knock that off, it's mostly that it's freaking cold, often snowy, and that I need a vacation to recover from playing hostess and cooking up a storm all through winter break. The sales are a small consolation ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love that kettle, so lovely! And that storage bin is adorable, I'd put it in my daughter Stella's room.
That storage bin would brighten up any room!
