i actually thrifted this a few weeks ago. i had been in the hunt for a garden pitcher for some time now and this battered one caught my eye. why not pick it up and paint it white? it took a while to do the actual paint job but with the weather was miserable all weekend, we thought it would be a good home project to do. so we headed over to ace hardware and picked up a tiny can of paint and gave this ole pitcher an upgrade.
we went with clark+kensington paint again {we used their sunburst yellow when we painted our dining chairs}. this time we picked out a shade of white called "you're the boss" (5052). really really loved it.
i'm still learning how to paint. kinda tricky but it's loads fun. and the little mistakes and lumps have my name all over it so it adds a personal touch {ha!}.
so there you go. an old thrifted garden pitcher looks pretty in white don't you think?
