// wake me up when the weekend is here..//
what are you all up to over the weekend?
we don't have anything special planned, but i did have an epiphany yesterday to finally finish season 9 of the x-files {i think i'm like 12 years late on this one} and so i may do the whole crash on the futon bit. other than that, it's running a bunch of errands and doing some house chores 'round here.
i hope you'll spend your time in a fun and fruitful way. these hilarious parenting tweets may help you get a head start on the "fun" part of this weekend. hope the make you laugh as much as it made me.
xoxo,
jane

Happy Weekend Jane!!
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend, Jane! Love the letters on your wall :) I plan to curl up and read more books (so far I'm doing good on my resolution to get back on regular leisure reading), shopping with my mama and catching up with more friends.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a relaxing one too, Jane.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely LOVED the tweets, and the slideshow of notes written by kids are just precious and hilarious all at the same time!
No big plans for us this weekend either. Might nip into town to look for some gym stuff but that's all. X-Files box set sounds immense!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sweet comment, we're not getting married till '15 but starting to get things moving.

ReplyDeleteThe other night I had a dream about watching the first pilot episodes where they were just casting Mulder and Scully and the actors were terrible but the director believed in them :P Thank goodness I didn't actually have any say in who they cast, the show wouldn't of been the same with different actors!
ReplyDeleteI remember peeking through the crack in my bedroom door at night to watch the show playing in the loungeroom! It was just after my bedtime and probably a little too scary to :P
I was feeling the same way last Monday..I couldn't wait for Friday to come. I never got to watch X-Files at all. I remember everyone was talking about it at school and was completely lost in the conversation. It's never too late to watch them. Reminds me of the time we started watching all ER episodes from season 1 till the end a decade later. :)
ReplyDeletemajor aw, the picture!
ReplyDeletegood weekend, went out on a posh meal, had a day out walking in the park and chilling before the busy week.
it is awesome that your mother is an artist too! thanks so much for your feedback, means a lot to me x
