this is called mutual weirdness otherwise known as love

"we're all a little weird. and life is weird. and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutual weirdness and call it love."-- dr. seuss..?

 we have a pretend friend for piri. he's a husky that speaks in a russian accent. he was made up one day when we felt bad leaving piri home alone for long hours while we were away at work. we would say that piri would go on adventures with this russian dog. they would make rockets and play chess at dupont circle. the character kinda stuck. since, we have run into huskies at petsmart, the farmer's market and even at virginia beach.  we suspiciously looked for clues on piri's face to see if they really were friends. he didn't give anything away. he could seriously put on a darn good poker face.

 we swear we're not crazy. maybe just crazy in love with our dog. and just a little weird... yeah.. definitely weird.

    That last picture of the three of you is so precious. I think it's awesome Piri has a pretend friend who's a husky that speaks in a Russian accent. We all need a pretend friend haha! And being crazy and weird is what life's all about! Now, I just want to go out and adopt a dog. So badly. It's on my wishlist :)

    Weird is great! That's a thing that just suddendly pops up as you go away from that silly trying to fit-in feelings (so typical in teenager years) :) We do lots of stories for Juno too and she has some several nicknames and voices :P
